Dr. Anthony J. Onofreo, DMD
Dr. Anthony J. Onofreo founded Middlesex Dental Associates in 1990. In 1993, Dr. Pamela A. Moore, a Periodontist, joined the practice.
Dr. Onofreo received his Bachelors of Science degree in biology from Boston College before going on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. In 1990, Dr. Onofreo began his own practice of restorative dentistry in Middletown, CT.
Dr. Pamela A. Moore, DMD
Dr. Moore joined the practice in 1993. She received her Bachelors of Science degree from Temple University and also earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where the two met. Following dental school, Dr. Moore remained at UCONN to earn her Certificate in the specialty of Periodontics.
Together, this husband and wife team provide a multidisciplinary approach to comprehensive clinical dentistry.
Dr. Danielle Brainard, DMD
Dr. Brainard joined the practice in August 2021. She grew up locally in Portland, Connecticut and then went to complete her undergraduate degree in both Mathematics and Biology at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Brainard earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at UCONN School of Dental Medicine in 2020, where she was honored with the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Student Award of Merit and the American Academy of Oral Medicine Award. After dental school, Dr. Brainard completed her General Practice Residency at Hartford Hospital where she gained excellent experience in all aspects of general dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Brainard enjoys spending time with her husband, James, and their German Shepherd, Georgia. She also loves horseback riding. She rode competitively throughout middle school, high school, and college and now just enjoys spending time with her horse, Jake, who she has owned for almost twenty years.
Dr. Brainard loves the field of dentistry because it allows her to connect with people while improving their overall health and smile. She believes that the most important part of dental treatment is a developing a trusting relationship with her patients as it allows for treatment to be tailored to the individual.
